It depends on when you claimed your .locker name.

Claimed before September 1, 2026? You have a BNS digital identity.

BNS (Bitcoin Name System) identities are secured by Bitcoin through the Stacks blockchain. To manage yours, sign in with the wallet you used when you claimed it: Leather or Xverse.

Claimed on or after September 1, 2026? You have an ENS digital identity.

ENS (Ethereum Name Service) identities are on Ethereum. To manage yours, sign in with the EVM-compatible wallet you used when you claimed it, such as MetaMask.

Not sure which wallet you used?

Check which wallet apps you have installed. If you have Leather or Xverse, try signing in with BNS. If you have MetaMask or another Ethereum wallet, try signing in with ENS.

Have a BNS identity and want ENS too?

BNS users can claim the matching ENS version of their .locker name. If you do, you’ll have both:

  • Manage your BNS identity with your Leather or Xverse wallet
  • Manage your ENS identity with the EVM wallet you used to claim it
