The ENS resolver is the part of the Ethereum Name Service (ENS) that tells apps and wallets where your name points. When someone types or pastes your .locker name, the resolver looks up the records attached to it and returns the right information, such as your wallet address, website, or profile details.

Think of your .locker name as a contact card and the resolver as the service that reads it. Instead of copying a long string like 0x71C7…9A3f, someone can send funds to yourname.locker, and the resolver makes sure the payment reaches the correct wallet.

A resolver can store several kinds of records for one name:
